CITAC has successfully developed an interface for Canossa Hospital (Caritas) to convert the Medicine Order Entry (MOE) data of the electronic health record office directly into the local dispensing module at the Canossa Hospital (Caritas).

This is the successful MOE data conversion among all private hospitals participating the eHR sharing in Hong Kong which paths an important part to the data conversion between eHR office and the local hospital systems. The successful conversion also forms an important part to the launch of the territory-wide electronic health record sharing system in 2015 by the HKSAR Government. Physicians prescribe medicine via the MOE module, prescriptions are automatically converted into the local dispensing module of the hospital so that pharmacists/dispensers do not need to retype the prescriptions ordered by physicians in order to eliminates typo error and shorten the waiting time for medicine, hence, improve patient safety and satisfaction.

CITAC is responsible for the development of the hospital information system of Canossa Hospital (Caritas) and is responsible for the development and daily operations of the I.T. Department at the hospital.
