CITAC has successfully developed an interface at Precious Blood Hospital (Caritas) to convert the Medicine Order Entry (MOE) data of the electronic health record office directly into the local dispensing module at the Precious Blood Hospital (Caritas).

This is the first successful MOE data conversion among all private hospitals participating the eHR sharing in Hong Kong which paths an important part to the data conversion between eHR office and the local hospital systems. The successful conversion also forms an important part to the launch of the territory-wide electronic health record sharing system in 2015 by the HKSAR Government. Physicians prescribe medicine via the MOE, prescriptions are automatically converted into the local dispensing module of the hospital so that pharmacists/dispensers do not need to retype the prescriptions ordered by physicians in order to eliminates typo error, hence, improve patient safety.

CITAC is responsible for the development of the hospital information system of Precious Blood Hospital (Caritas) and is responsible for the development and daily operations of the HIS at the hospital.
