CITAC has developed a patient records (排板）tracking module. The module is embedded into the hospital information system at Canossa Hospital (Caritas). The module facilitates hospital staff to record the borrowing and return of medical record of a patient with information of who, where, when and why the record is taken. It reduces the hand written request note and reduce the error of mis-placing the record. The module enables staff at the hospital to retrieve and return physical records 24 hours a day with a precise tracking of the location of the records.
