Dear colleagues of Canossa Hospital (Caritas)

I thank God for leading the way for me and my team to work in Canossa Hospital (Caritas) by the order of the Late Bishop Michael Yeung in 2010. In the past ten years, I experienced four stages in the development of the Canossa Hospital Information System (CHIS): the rectification of the old system, the development, the enhancement and the advancement of the new system.

Despite how managing the IT department for the hospital had been quite stressful for me, the happiness and satisfaction that came from having developed a unique system for Canossa Hospital (Caritas) made up for the difficulty of the task.

CHIS received a number of ACHS awards and two hospital internal CQI awards. My first award presentation, titled “It’s A Miracle”, describes the achievement of developing the hospital information system from scratch is the blessing from God. My second award presentation, “The Miracle Continues”, describes the continuous enhancement and advancement of the CHIS with God’s continuous blessing. 

I pray for God to continue to watch over the hospital’s new IT team, and I wish the best of luck to the hospital.

I will be in the  temporary office on the second floor near the conference room. My team and I will stay there for the handover exercise until the end of November 2020.
